Judge Robin Darr
Judge Robin Darr
Robin Malone Darr, a native Midlander, was appointed to the 385th District Court Bench upon the retirement of Judge Willie DuBose. She was appointed to the bench August 3, 2004 and was elected in the November 2004 General Election to fill DuBose’s unexpired term.
Judge Darr is a graduate of Baylor School of Law (JD 1982) and Baylor University School of Business (BBA 1980).
Judge Darr came to the bench with extensive trial experience and a total of twenty-two years of legal experience as a felony prosecutor, Legislative Assistant and Special Assistant to Secretary of State.
Judge Darr has volunteered for many organizations in our community, including Junior League of Midland, Arts Assembly of Midland, Leadership Midland Alumni Association, Midland Symphony Guild, First Baptist Church and Hi Sky Emmaus.
Judge Darr’s goals are to be a good listener, to be fair to all parties and to make timely decisions. Judge Darr is committed to following the law as it is written and not legislating from the bench.
