History

History

Midland County Court-at-Law #2 was created by the Texas Legislature and began operation on October 1, 1985.  Judge James Fitzgerald was the first judge of County Court-at-Law #2 and served until December 31, 1994, at which time he retired.  Judge Marvin L. Moore has presided in County Court-at-Law #2 since January 1, 1995.
