Brands and Marks are to be recorded with the County Clerk’s office. Agriculture Code Sec. 144.001 (a) & 144.001(b) Consult Texas Statutes for other general provisions:

SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Notice: It is the brand applicant’s responsibility to research the mark or brand and assure the brand is not currently on record by another owner before submitting a brand application for recording.
Instructions:
- TYPE in all required information on application below. Use an ink pen to draw brand and marks in specified boxes
- Print and sign application. The original signed application is required for recording.
- Mail in ORIGINAL application with a money order or cashier’s check and make payable to Midland County Clerk
