TexShare - (Requires library card)

TexShare is a collection of databases, journals/articles, and information on a wide variety of topics.  Some of the topics covered include hobbies and crafts, vocational collections, health information, business sources, digital maps, American and Texas history, literature, and science and technology.  The OCLC WorldCat also allows a search for books with a listing of which US and a few foreign libraries hold the title.

Freegal Music - (Requires library card)

Freegal Music gives you access to:
  • over 9 million songs and 15,000 music videos.
  • over 28,000 labels including the Sony Music catalogue. 
  • Library users have a weekly download limit of 5. 
  • Music videos may be viewed and cost 2 downloads apiece. 
  • Each patron also recieves 3 hours of streaming music every day.
  • Thousands of popular artists and over 200 genres.

NEW! Novelist Plus - (Requires library card)
 In addition to the new features in the PAC, NoveList also has a stand-alone website.NoveList Plus has reading recommendations for both ficiton and nonfiction, for all ages. NoveList's expertise in books and reading means that you'll always get the best help for finding just the right books.
Access the site in the library and remote users will use their library card number to login and view the content. NoveList is partnered with Goodreads. There are recommended lists, searching/browsing capabilities, and recommended read-alikes for popular and trending titles.

OneClickDigital - (Requires library card)

OneClickDigital offers online and mobile access to eAudiobooks and eBooks from a number of publishers including the major players. 

Chilton Online - (Requires library card)

Chilton library
online offers an online auto repair library, and librarian resources for your local library.  Offers categories of repair and maintenance on thousands of car, truck, and van models within the Chilton library.
Driving Tests - (Open to public) is a website for learners who want to practice their skills before taking the real DMV permit test. The site provides practice tests for every state in the U.S. Currently we are working on adding more tests to our database, so if your test is not included yet, please check back later or sign up for our newsletter, and we’ll notify you as soon as more practice permit tests are published!

Every permit practice test presented on the site contains a series of multiple-choice questions. After the learner answers the question, they immediately see whether the answer was correct or not. We also provide a hint (to be used before giving the answer) and the explanation (to check after you have provided the wrong answer).

The ONET (or Online Information Network) is a free database sponsored by the United States Department of Labor where users may research information, and determine skills, on a wide variety of occupations.


 Digital Commons Network - (Open to public)

The Digital Commons Network brings together free, full-text scholarly articles from hundreds of universities and colleges worldwide. The Network includes a growing collection of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, dissertations, working papers, conference proceedings, and other original scholarly work. ​

Careeronestop is the main career website sponsored by the United States Department of Labor.  It is free to use to search for jobs, obtain career/training information, and access onli​ne tools and resources.
