Texas Wildlife Association presents Wildlife by Design: Skins and Skulls at the Centennial Library! 'Skins and Skulls' is a presentation about the identification and specialized adaptations of native Texas wildlife by observing and analyzing characteristics of different skulls and skins. You will have the opportunity to investigate skulls of native Texas wildlife and use field guides to identify a "mystery skull", all while learning about the animals' habitat, food sources, and adaptations for survival. This program is for elementary-aged children.

DOWNTOWN LIBRARY

March 10 and 24, April 7 and 21 at 11:30am

 

The Downtown Library will be undergoing renovations, but you can still come to story time! Bring a sack lunch and enjoy stories and early literacy activities on site at the Downtown Library. After story time, check out books from "Polly", MCPL's bookmobile. This program is for ages 2-6 and will occur every other Saturday beginning 3/10/18.

Do you love anime and Japanese culture? Come to the Centennial Library Bat Cave where we'll discuss anime, manga, cosplay, and more! For ages 13-19.

Compete in groups of 6-8 to escape the office of Dolores Umbridge, High Inquistor of Hogwarts!

This event will take place on Friday, March 16th, 2018. For ages 13-19 at the Centennial Library. For questions, contact the Youth Services Dept. at 432-742-7445.
