Summer Reading

View our summer calendar Here

Summer is an exciting time for kids, young adults, and families. There is no school, vacations, and many hours to spend having a great time. Discovering books and reading for pleasure helps students maintain strong reading skills.

Midland County Public Libraries offers the Summer Reading Program every summer. Participants in the program can earn prizes for attending library programs and reading great books. Once they complete the program they get the option of going to a pool party or a Rockhounds game.
