This exhibit commemorates and celebrates the life, times, and distinguished career of Sir Winston Churchill. It will inspire current and future leaders by his example of resilience, determination, and resolution.
The exhibit will feature over 50 items. Some outstanding items of interest are:
Five original paintings
Top hat signed by Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin
A Union Jack flag from the platform during the Iron Curtain Speech
Fountain pen used by President Kennedy to sign a Congressional Resolution
Draft of the Iron Curtain Speech
The exhibit will also include an original oil on canvass painting by President George W. Bush who was inspired by Churchill as an artist.
MCPL will offer tours with a docent so visitors can gain a more thorough understanding and knowledge of the exhibit. To schedule a tour, please call 742-7420.
