Child Protection Court
The Child Protection Court will be conducting video hearings on essential matters. The dockets will be posted on the usual txcourts.gov website and the hearings will be conducted via Zoom and live-streamed via YouTube. Any questions about participation in the hearings should be directed to Court Coordinator Marisol Montes at email@example.com.
The Midland County Clerk’s office is now back to normal scheduled hours and appointments aren't required.

Our lobby is open to the public. If you are in need of a protective order, we are that you visit the Protective Order page on our website at https://www.co.midland.tx.us/194/Protective-Order-Division. There you will find information regarding the application process and how to make an appointment with our Protective Order Division. If you do not have access to download or print the paperwork, please call 432-688-4411 and ask for the Protective Order Division and we will assist over the phone. All Pretrial Intervention Courses are currently being conducted remotely. The Midland County District Clerk’s Office is closed to the public due to the Health et Safety of the Citizenry during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. Daily business operations continue with a reduced staff on a rotational schedule. Our hours of operation remain the same (Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM). The Midland County Tax Office is open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The waiver that Governor Abbott put in place will expire on April 14, 2021.
This waiver had granted relief from registering your vehicle, as well as penalties applied to title transfers. For more information call (432) 688-4810.
Title IV-D CHILD SUPPORT COURT
Unless otherwise notified, the IV-D Child Support Court will be conducting all hearings via Zoom and live-streamed via YouTube. The Attorney General will contact you with details on when and how to attend the hearings. The Treasurer’s Office is open and doing business as usual with a full staff.
