#WeAreMCSO… We would like to continue to introduce to you those who are members of the Midland County Sheriff's Office.

My name is Ralph Gonzales.  I grew up in the Stanton, Texas,  joined the Army in 1978, and retired in 2006. I served over 27 years where I was stationed in several places, including Europe, North Carolina, Alaska, South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas. In the service, I taught Drivers Training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Artic Light Training in Alaska. I was assigned to the Permian Basin Drug Task Force for 5 years, which helped me get into law enforcement. I started working for the Midland County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 as a jailer. In 2009, I promoted to Courthouse Security Section where I have been serving the citizens of Midland County. In 2014, I was selected as Employee of the Year.

I am married to a great and wonderful lady, who I love dearly. She is always looking out for me. We have been married for 29 years. We have two sons and two grandchildren.  We are blessed.
