We would like to continue to introduce to you those who are members of the Midland County Sheriff's Office.
Greetings, my name is Angela D. Williams! I started working for Midland County Sheriff’s Office in December 1993, and 27 years later I am very thankful to still be employed here. In my earlier years, I worked as a booking/bonding clerk directly in the jail. As a young woman, I learned a lot about how to deal with people from all walks of life. Currently, I work in the Jail Administration section, as CJIS Clerk, where my main job duty is to keep the Sheriff's Office in compliance with the state regulated guidelines for accurately reporting criminal offenses on every individual arrested in Midland County. Within this position, I've learned just how important it is to make sure we as an agency report crimes committed in our county correctly and the effects it can have if not done properly.
On a personal note, I am absolutely nothing without Christ! My faith in HIM is my strength and keeps me believing in a better tomorrow. Family is very important, as it should be, and although mine is small, they bring me so much joy! I have 2 beautiful and intelligent nieces that I simply adore! Both are athletically inclined and tower over me, yet they're still "Nane's girls" and make me "super proud!"
Over my years here at the Sheriff's Office, I have made some very strong connections with my fellow coworkers and certainly consider them as friends. In 2008, I lost my eyesight due to a rare eye disease and was blessed to have experienced the kindness of others. I knew then that "family" isn't only the one in which we are born into...Family can also be the one created while earning a living.
Thanks for all 27 years and COUNTING...APPRECIATIVE!
