Make the school year easier with the Midland County Public Library's homework help programs and tools! Visit with a library staff member to discover a variety of learning aids that can make completing homework assignments and research projects a breeze. At the library, we can help with searching the online catalog to find a large selection of books, discovering free public learning tools, and using our free online databases

Visit with Library Staff

Children in grades 1 - 5 may visit with a library staff member every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm to 5pm for 30-minute sessions to get guidance in elementary mathematics, science, language arts, and history.

To participate, please submit a tutoring appointment request for each individual session each week. To maximize learning, please bring any materials necessary to complete an assignment. (Online appointments require a reliable computer or laptop with internet access, a working camera, and a working microphone.)

Live tutors available daily from 1pm to 11pm CST
Brainfuse HelpNow provides online tutoring for students in grades K-12 and adult learners. Students communicate with live tutors using an interactive whiteboard to chat, write, draw, copy/paste text or images and graph homework problems. All live sessions are saved and can be replayed as well as shared with friends and teachers by email. Registration is not required to get live tutoring help, but it is recommended so that students can track their progress. Registration is required for certain modules like The Writing Lab and the SkillSurfer.
