Office Procedures during the COVID-19 Emergency Declaration:
We are open but are operating with reduced staff and on a rotating basis.
We are respectfully asking the public the following:
If you are in need of a protective order, please go online to our website and download the application. The application and instructions for completing and returning the application form electronically may be found on our website. If a potential applicant cannot return the form electronically, they may return the form in the secure drop box located in the lobby of the courthouse and someone will contact them within 24 hours. A paper copy of the form can also be found in the lobby of the courthouse on the bookshelf labeled “District Attorney’s Office”.
Our Pretrial Intervention Office is currently closed to the public. If you need to turn in community service hours or other information, you may do so by placing it in the drop box labeled District Attorney Forms in the lobby of the courthouse. Individuals that still need to complete their community service hours will be allowed an extended period of 30 days to complete their hours dues to the closure of several nonprofit organizations. Online classes may still be completed and our office will be notified when they are completed. In-person classes are tentatively scheduled to occur online and details will be distributed to those already enrolled in the course.
